nice trucks.........i just got a decent lil 80 yota.having to rebuild the weber but the rest seem good.been driving a 86 turbo 4runner with a shot ifs front end.to lazy to fix and didnt have a straight axle to put under it.now i have a 80 a thought to sas my runner but then rethought this is a nice cool little truck and thougth keep the 80 and rob the 86 ifs hubs,22ret and it has 488 so ifs axle with gears and spooled.

 

Now you're thinking! Yeah, if you're willing to put some work in and sacrifice a little comfort, these old trucks are where it's at!

Although for a mix of toughness and comfort, my all around favorite truck is still (and may always be) my 86 xtra cab pickup. Should have never sold it, but back then, before I knew what I know now, a blown headgasket (or maybe timing chain wore a hole in the cover...I'll never know) was the last nail in the coffin for it.

 

This is my 82 long bed, Inkein Rims w/ 31" BFG AT Integra seats, I had to do a lot of cleaning it had been sitting for about 3 years:

cool truck but is it just me or does the hood graphic seem wrong:

thought they were a little wider...

 

it's an SR5, same graphic as mine

they probably were back a number of years hehe, his are graphics are probably peeling and chipping just as bad as mine

 

yeah pretty much but i refuse to remove them until i repaint it and order some new ones
