Maistroyota, aside from those rusted windshield wipers, that is the cleanest 1st gen I have EVER seen. That is my dream truck!! NICE WORK!

You "really" have a nice truck and thank you for taking care of it. We need to preserve these 1st Generation trucks as they will never be produced again.
I agree. I think people should restore them instead of chopping them up and making them extreme offroaders, but that's just me.

or at least use metal from the junk yard instead of chopping up the nice factory skins!

You are allowed to chop one up as long as you at least restore another
I have retained 99.9% of my truck's sheet metal and it crawls all the top trails.. they don't have to be chopped to work well.
What I dislike is the punks who get them just to destroy them! Use a Nissan for that lol!
Currently fabing a four link rear...

Beautiful truck for sure.. Here's my '83 I've been working on.....New paint, restored undercarriage, and intertior..Paint is the original color, Tierra cotta....I wanted to thank you because I needed a good representation of some sr5 stripes, they're going on tomorrow...I'll post a lot more pics on days to come...t
Very nice truck Shlobeck...it's good to see more of these trucks restored to their original condition. What color are your stripes? Can't wait to see it!
