Yeah this site leans much more towards 4wd, but I'd like to see the earlier 2wd too! This is the "pre-84" section, but yeah, this thread was looking more for 4wd's, which didn't start until '79. Still, I'd rather see your truck than an '85 4runner!

pretty clean...interesting work on that bed...can you post some upclose pictures of it--more detail. I am sure there are a few guys that would be interestings in borrowing your idea

I would never try this on Pirate. Limit myself to searching and reading there.

This was my 79 after i got the drivetrain and lift done.....and then someone stole it and have never gotten it back

I found the new project in wheels deals. theres another one in there, a short box looks like no rust for 1800

seriously I hate it when I hear about a truck getting stolen, especially in the PNW. my wife just doesn't understand why I am so paranoid about my truck
your stolen truck was pretty cool...new one looks great too.

Yea those U bolts were definitely the coolest thing, but now I have a ubolt flip kit in the garage for the new truck...haha
