Has anybody dealt with NW CylinderHeads??
I was searching for remanufactured Cylinder heads on eBay and came across NW CylinderHeads out of Spokane, WA. Has anybody heard of them or dealt with them? Comments? Good, Bad, Ugly??
I may be looking to get a 1981-84 22R head (round exhaust ports) from them.
Thanks for your input

Never heard of them, but I've only been in Spokane for 5 years. Can't seem to track down where their shop is, just their ebay business. Must have a different business name in town. If you figure it out, I can ask around about their rep locally.

Bingle, I searched online for their address. They are located at 1631 E Francis Ave
If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate you scoping them out for me. Just curious about their quality of work they do.

Wasn't sure. Called "cylinder head service" on storefront. Will ask around and see if anybody's used them. Get back to ya tomorrow afternoon. What's up with your current head? Did I miss that thread?

Thanks, I appreciate you looking into that for me
Nothing is really wrong with my current head. I'm just figuring that since it's going to cost me at least $285 in parts and machine work for a head job on it so I figured I might just look around for new castings or complete remans.

From my emails Ted and his son will rebuild an early head. From what I understand no one had made new early heads for quite a few years...
I may have engbldr rebuild a head for me at some point however I could not get a real estimate out of them last year..

I worked with a guy over the summer that said that is the only place her will take his machining work too. He has rebuilt many Yotas over the years and I respect his opinion very highly. He is a machinist at the sheet metal and fabrication shop I worked at. He knows quality Machining when he sees it.

Thanks for your input guys, I think I'll end up going with them. I've yet to hear anythin ba about them. The price is definitely right, but I'm usually a firm believer in getting what you pay for. I don't want to finish up this build just to find out that I got a crap head.
