i was on my way to prom a lil while ago..went by a junkyard/used car lot....and there it was...a COMPLETELY STOCK 1st gen pickup...longbed...its got the original rims and everything...no lift..just completely stock..im gonne go look at it tomorrow...see if i can talk my dad into buying it for a parts truck...or my DD and use my '80 as a parts truck..LoL!...bad thing is..we just dropped $2900 for an '86 extended cab DLX 4x4...lol..i dont think my dad will go for it....o well..i'll try and make him..LOL!

buy it cheap for a parts truck and sell all the interior and look pretty stuff to pay for it, they will more than pay for themselves if it is relativity complete.

nevermind..the damned old fart wants $2500 for it..and it dont even run good...needs front and rear mains replaced..probably needs a clutch..its got rusted floorboards most likely...hell we gave $2900 for our new '86 ext cab 4x4 (22R) and its been completely rebuilt...O and by the way..in the near future..we're getting the '86 painted WHITE!...with black rims...and some bedliner around the bottom of the truck...i'll have pics soon!..(of the truck how it is right now..with my swampers on it )
