float sticking on weber 32/36

ok i have an 81 pickup with a 22r and i replaced my stock carb with a weber 32/36(which i regret) it ran pretty good till a couple days ago it started starving for gas after i drove it a couple yards then run great but after a couple more days after it started starving and my truck would just die and not start back up till i tap the carb so im thinking the float is sticking

i took my carb off tonight and everything looks good
so if anybody could help me figure out what could be causeing this it would be greatly apresheated

Thanks Cody

oh and it only happens on hot days like 75-100

are you sure its not vapor locking? make sure your fuel lines aren't running next to anything hot like exhaust... wrap them with head shielding or aluminum foil.
