FIPG Question

Didn't do enough research when installing my oil pan... Used a cork gasket, and it's been leaking since a few weeks after I installed the engine.

About to do my next oil change and am going with Form-In-Place-Gasket instead.

Question: The tubes they sell are 3 oz. for ~$15 USD. Is this 3oz tube enough for the pan, or do I need more than one tube?

Apologies for the n00b question, I tried searching with no results.

Thanks!

1 tube is more than enough! you don't need to put it on super thick or some bits can come loose inside and clog the oil strain. I have a cork gasket and it doesn't leak so far I'm lucky.
