I recently put an 83 22r into my 81. Vacuum lines are very different, an I cant seem to get em right. It doesnt want to start when cold, had to use starter fluid, once it started idled fine. Drove it for about 5 min, then put it in gear moved forward, pushed in clutch and it died. It idles on its own warm sometimes, but just barely. It will run fine at higher rpms. But at an idle. I dont think its idle screw either. Engine ran perfect in previous pickup. Only things we could have messed up were lines from firewall to carb, and some on passenger side of carb, trying to figure them out. Im going to try and post some pictures. If they dont work give me some ideas guys, please.
