engine install

I just bought a engine from a guy works at BC auto.. 22R to replace the 20r in my truck. I my question is I was powerwashing the engine and I noticed the engine has a 20r on the block did I just get screwd? Or is there another way to tell if its a 22R?

A 22R head with a 20R block is the opposite of the hot setup. What you want is a 22R block with a 20R head.
