engine instalation issues.

engine instalation issues.

hey so i am droping my 22r back in to my truck now and i have the clutch in the housing but it needs to go like another half inch or so.................y wont it go in please help iv been trying for 3 hours..........!

got her in! for future refrence: there are little nubs coming out of the engien that u must line up with holes on transmition. make sure ur engine is perfectly level side to side have the front a little higher then the rear and push hoist forward as u slowly let the engine down. when top bolts can be screwed in do so and consitanly tighten as u slowly drop engien.once the top bolts are almost totaly tight, then slowly let ur jack holding ur trany down too. repeat steps.....................that should do the trick

Whats real fun is getting the top two bolts in and the torque converter tightened down on the fly wheel and then see there is a nub on a nub. And you realize you have to pull the engine to drive out the nub that doesn't belong there.
