electrical system madness

ok so heres just a little bit of it truck started up fine drove it about 2 miles shut off truck went to go turn back on started back up then suddenly dies go to turn back on nothing, dome light wont even turn on so pop the hood to check the terminals give them a little tap with a wrench and go to turn back on still nothing, only dome light turns on but when i go to turn on the headlights the dome light turns in to a strobe light and makes a fast ticking noise and when i push my break pedal in the dome light turns off and the ticking stops so just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else. oh yeah and i took of i guess you call it the window wiper switch just pulled it off cuz it was rattling and buggin the s#!t outta me and just cut the wires so just got the handle if that might do anything thanks aloha

so you cut the wires to the wiper switch before your Dome light terminals were beat with a wrench and became possessed??

if you cut the wiper wiring before your truck needed the exorcism you have just caused a short in your electrical system that is causing it to ground out (that is my theory based upon your explanation).

Here is a link to some pics of my 1981 Toyota Wiring Diagram
it might help you out
Good luck
