I have a 82 toy and have replaced my bench with buckets. The question is if I do not hook up the seatbelt wire under the seat will it buzz? I do not want to hook it up because it does not match up with my new buckets. Have any of you just removed the wire all together?

I just unplugged the one in my truck when I installed buckets, no more buzzing.

Depends on if your buzzer still works or not lol. Most dont work anymore. If it does, just unplug it. Its only a reminder light.buzzer anyways.

the buzzer on your 82 is under the dash on won of the kick panels. it';s been a while since i unplugged mine. i think it's on the passenger side. it gets rid of the stupid key part also.
