CV rear drive shaft

I am trying to run duals and a G52 tranny in my 81 4x4 short bed, my rear drive shafts is gonna have to be really short... so I am debating on throwing a CV in the rear... or just trying to run a shortend stock shaft... whats the shortest drive shaft any body runs in thier truck... I drive this truck 10-20 miles a day and I plan to wheel it alot

Don't remember the length of mine. We take the 4rnr every with no issues, even road trips. I had to go with the cv just cut and rewelded spring perches. I'm in a first gen 4rnr and your wheel base is shorter than mine. I suggest you set the rear suspension up to your likings before you go duals so you only have to mess with the pinion angle once.
