I'm only 18 and I've thought about how I want my garage built more than I have wrapped my mind around a career. A lift and heated floors are mandatory

Look great! Time to raise those rafters a bit? Some more height would be slick.

Sweet lift man! sure hope that your trucks never get put up too high and contact the joists, I know I'd probably bawl my eyes out if I had trucks as pretty as yours haha

Nice!! He cant raise them without alot of work. They are engineered trusses. They is what they is.

Looks like you could scoot around on a stool under it.

Nice garage.

Merry Christmas!!

The trusses are 4 feet apart, if I park it just right the upper cab area fits right in between, more than enough room to work under the truck.

Very nice, I'd love to have a lift. U could hang a tennis ball from a some string so that when it just touches ur windshield that you'll be in the right spot to fit in between the trusses. Just a thought.

No need for floor bolts on that? And is that the fold-out model? I've seen a few where you unfold them, pin them, plug it in and go.

You read my mind....thought of that last night, great idea.

I have the option of bolting it down or not, it comes with casters so it can be moved around fairly easy. There are alot of lifts out there now, lots of competition so prices have come down, when they first came out they were around 4k, now I've seen them as low as $1200, you have to be careful cause at the lower end I wouldn't trust the quality. This one is heavy duty with added safety features that I liked, it was 2k. Name: lift003_zps13bcfb81.jpg

Ha, I remember my dad doing that, after my mom ran into the washer/dryer a few times. He also put in two concrete wheel chocks.

Great addition to the shop. Nice 1st gens sitting around

Sure, I've got about 4 feet under the van to work, fine for a sit on creeper.
