carb question

I currently have a stock toyota carb on my 79 pickup, im looking at getting a different carb for it and was wondering what all my options are. I know the weber is a good choice, but was wondering if you can put a two barrel like off of a old chevy on it?

IMO, nothing beats a Weber 32/36 on a 20/22R motor. Simple, reliable performance.

I would love to say the weber 38mm.....but that particular carb works a lot better with a modified engine like a stage 2 LC. I'm not an expert on what it takes to make a stage 2 engine but that was the advice that was given to me. My vote is for the weber 32/36. Got one on my 82 right now and while she needs a little more tuning to the high desert area I love it. I'm still learning my NA tuning lol.
