Bilstein 5100 Part Number??
I need some help with figuring out which Bilsteins (or other shocks) to buy. I know everybody has a different setup so some things may vary, but I'm drawing a blank in my research (I do motors well, not suspensions). I've done some searching on here, but all the threads don't have any shock length information or part numbers.
I'm doing a 2" OME springs and 2" longer shackles so I should be sitting about 3-3.5" over stock height. I'm looking for a good road ride with mild off-road capabilities.
What's everybody here running on how much lift (Bilstein or others)? Compressed length, extended length, part number, etc would all be helpful.

Ok, so here's what I have found for my research and rough measurements:
I'll looking at these 5125 Bilsteins:
Front 24-185684 - 12.83" COL/20.45" EXT (7.62" travel) with 224/100 valving
Rear 33-186542 - 15.11" COL/24.35" EXT (9.24" travel) with 255/70 valving
Unfortunately, my measurements only give me a rough idea since I barely have a rolling chassis and there is no body weight on the suspension. Thoughts?

I'd recommend waiting until you're a little farther along on the build before you worry about that too much.....don't put the cart before the horse. You still have body and engine weight that will change things on you. And when you get to that point where you're ready to do that you can always call Bilstein or Rancho or OME or whoever and talk to one of their techs about your setup and see what they recommend.
