Before, during, and after carpet install
First and most importantly, I suck at this type of work. I ordered the carpet for $130 delivered from stockinteriors.com. I removed the old carpet, wirebrushed and primed the floorboards, then installed the new stuff. How do you think it looks?
This truck is my first type of hands-on partial resto of any type. I am a newbie. No one has taught me how to do this type of work, but I am going to do it!!!! I love this stuff!!!!!

The new carpet looks good! It is definitely better than the old carpet and freshens up the inside of the truck. Now you are going to have to empty your wallet and redo the rest of the interior to match!

I have ordered carpet from 3 different suppliers and stockinteriors is one of them. They all have the floor pan pressed into the carpet but that is it. Everything else you have to cut such as shifters and bolt holes. Patience is a key factor and taking your time. Looks like it came out nice for you. New carpet sure can make the rest of the interior pieces look worse.
To freshen up interior plastic and vinyl, look into interior painting. When done correctly, it helps with the look of the interior and is easy to do.
