automatic trans, engine removal
i have moderately built engine i put together a while back for another project that got sold and figure what better to put it in than my dd, the existing only has 250k on it and runs fine, but it has blow by due to some genius(previous owner) putting an electric fuel pump on it. my only question is, how do you remove the engine from trans? there isn't an bottom to remove from the bell housing, how do you go about unbolting the torque converter from flywheel? or do you simply slide it out of the trans when you pull the engine? my first experience with removing an auto on a yota and don't want to mess anything up. any tips you guys can give, thanks in advance.

there is a converter inspection cover on the bottom of the transmission housing that comes off for you to access the converter bolts.
