It did apparently, assisted by no jato. The engine originally had dual weber side drafts and alot of other hop ups including straight exaust. It couldnt do 100 in its condition with a jato attach now hahah!

I'm not trying to be mean but 160mph...are you sure? With a 20r? And, on a street which is assuming it's pretty short (not a highway!) I am sorry but I doubt it. But if you get it running do a top speed test on it

Most definitely. My dad is the one who told me about it and i have never know him to over exagerate things. The truck is really light too, i wouldnt put it passed him. He probably did go around 160.

Its a fast yota to, my dad ran it at bout 160 down our street once
I don't think even PORSCH OR FARARRI can touch that down the street come to think about it JOHN FORCE would have a hard time doing that.

Like, i said its an extremely light truck, its practically bare bones. no ammenities. , and our street is about a mile long so i do belive he got it up there. he was running alot of horses with everything he had on it.

km/h or mph?? I can max out my speedo at 140kmh in 4th no probs, but its is scarier than hell. I dont go over 110kmh if i have the choice, seems like the truck wants to start flying over every bump at those speeds and braking is another thing

even with a built engine, racing tranny and gears I still think 160 is a little hard to believe. I could believe 120 or maybe even 140, but 160 is a stretch. I mean, the speedo on my truck clocks out at 85, you mean to tell me you almost doubled that speed? How would you even know without a speedo?

Drag truck. Not the kind that grind the frame on the pavement, the kind that do the quarter mile real fast! Too much work involved to make it a nice street truck, but wouldn't take too much to have fun at the track.
