okay. im looking at buying my friends 83 that had a 99% perfect body other than one door. the paint is great, the interior is great cept one crack on the dash, the thing is the motor is blown. is 800 bucks a great deal or what?

Yeah, i'd go for it 800 isn't bad for a good body and frame. 22R's are easy to come by.

 

offer his 600 cash! if he don't take it wait a couple days and offer him 700.

the thing is im seein 79-83's in the same shape selling for like 5 grand. i wanna say this truck has never made it off road.

I paid a 1200 for mine and it barely had brakes, a 4 speed that poped out of gear, air in the slave cylinder, many electrical gremlims (no brake lights), and the POS was leaking every type of fluid known to a rig, motor was high milage but decent and I felt like I got a good deal. Its all fixed now! and I love it
