You can get enough power out of a 20r if you have some $$ and it will still be more bulletproof than the 22r's. My 20r hauls some serious a$$ when i step into it and let that head flow to about 6500-7000rpm.

It is *possible* to bore the 20r from 88.5mm to the 92mm to except the normal 22r pistons from most build kits but i dont recommend it. Sometimes bubbles in the block when your bore will appear then the block is no good, kinda like a hit or miss with blocks.

The biggest drawback for stock 20r's is the 8.4:1 CR they run, but to get past that you need big $$ for either pistons or turbos/SC. Get the head reworked with 22r valves and aluminum rocker assembly with a decent cam and your good to go.

Looks pretty sweet, love the stereo, you should be able to get panels and such to replace the cab floor and such... I'd get some por15 on the frame...

what is the story with the big hole in the floor??? Looks like they cut out the passenger side rear firewall for access to the gas tank? The truck has potential but you have got your work cut out for you...Good luck. I thought the floor in my truck was bad, but not now...Enjoy

edit: what is the story with the garden hose going through the bed? was it some form of gravity fed fuel pump bypass?
