Hello all,
I recently ordered a replacement radiator for my '82 4WD and became puzzled when the parts salesman called and told me the one I ordered was for an '83 and wouldn't fit. I'm no expert, but based on the research I have done prior to the purchase an '82 and an '83 should take the same radiator. The source I ordered it through is a well respected Toyota specialist, and they should have far more expertise than I, but I can't help thinking a second opinion might be in order. The truck is bone stock with a manufacture date of 02/82. Thanks in advance for everyone's input.

they dont sound much like a "specialist" to me ...
rad will fit from 79-88 + 89 4Runner .. 2 or 4wd .. although there is a height differance in the 2wd ..

89-95 will also fit , with some minor mods
