82 4x4 pickup

Any idea on where to find body replacement panels for these older 1st gen trucks? I need a new roof.
Thanks

Roof issues.

Welcome

As far as I know, no company makes new roof panels.

You may have to salvage a roof off of another truck or try to fix what you have.

You might check with Yoda Jim’s in Denver for used body panels or a local junk yard

You also might rent a stud welder kit and try to pull it out. They work great in pulling dents. The top panel is pretty workable but the corner may need extra work to get straight

That would have worked but the rear window frame is messed up too. I have one coming from Denver that includes 6-8 inches below the rear window and the front window beams and part of the firewall. I'll drill out the spot welds and then remove mine. Fit it up and MIG weld in place. Also have rust damage in 2 small areas driver's side floor but that's an easy fix.
