Help! My 82 sat in a field for 2 years and Rats ate some of the wiring. I have most of it figured out except one plug that has 4 wires. It's close to the battery and comes out of the wiring harness on the left fender well. Any ideas. Any pictures of yours would help. I think 1 wire goes to the choke and one to the fuel shut off but no clue where the other 2 would go.
Thanks
Can you get better pics of the connector ( top & bottom) and wire colors. Maybe we can get it figured for you. Is it the first big plug coming out of the firewall? If so, it should attach somewhere in that right fender well harness. Looks like someone may have rewired the plug.
I figured it out. It went to the carb. Since I'm using a Weber I won't need it. It would have been nice to hook up the fuel cut off and choke with it but I can't get power to it. The old owner ran a new wire from Bart to under dash to a toggle and then back to the choke and fuel. Oh well.
