82 22r header/exhaust set up???

I just bought a dough Thorley header and im curious as to which size exhaust piping to run?

i currently am runing stock no resonator with a muffler and have a turn down tip right after my cab. I like the set up but i want to get a lil more power out of it and i know the header will do a dandy but not sure on the exhaust end.

So??? DT header to 2 1/4 inch pipe to a flowmaster muff then stop after cab? Will i be losing to much back pressure with this set up?

any help would be nice....thanx again.
