Hey guys, Ive got a 81 trekker im trying to get back on the road, its been sitting atleast 15 years, ive got a lot of work done but I am chasing a ghost now, hoping someone might be able to shed some light..

It will start if you pump the gas, when its running you have to keep pressure on the peddle and keep it above 2500 rpms. After it warms up it is fine, will idle down at 700rpm's all day.

It has a remanufactured carb, new fuel filters and pump, cleaned the fuel tank. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, magnetic pick up, vacuum advance pot. New Altenator, battery, voltage regulator. EGR holds vacuum. New brake booster too. I cant seem to find any vacuum leaks.

I resoldered the computer in the driverside kick panel too. I have tried adjusting the carb, the fast idle screw doesn't seem to do anything.

Its a 81 4x4 with California emissions
