79 4x4 pickup 20r carb problems

I'll try to make a long story short. Bought a 79 4x4 for an extra camp truck so dont want to get too involved in this project. It wasnt running when i bought it. Gas tank is rusted out and carb is leaking from every place it could possibly leak and is beyond rebuild. I put a small gas tank in bed and an electric fuel pump for now until i can fix stock tank. I cleaned all the plugs and distributer cap and got it running with a lil carb cleaner and starter fluid pouring gas straight in carb. Now for the questions. If i get a weber carb, do i need a return for the fuel line? What psi should fuel be for weber carb? and do i need a regulator to keep psi down if no return? Any help would be appreciated!!

I don't have a return line on my Weber. Some people say having a return line helps. I run my Weber at 2.5 4 psi depending on where I am at. I would highly suggest a regulator if you plan to use the elec fuel pump. I run a holley style reg.
