Hey guys,

I found a great deal on a flatbed on Craig's list. The only problem is that it is for a 6' bed. I have a 82 longed that I am fixing up. How much modification would have to be done to make the flatbed work?

Hi wolfpack, welcome to the forum! There is a 1 foot difference between the two, and the difference is between the rear and front wheels, so the wheel wells won't be at the same place, not sure if it is worth it for you. I have built my bed for less than 150$ to my liking with angle iron and wood, if you have some tools and a welder you can build your own for quite cheap.
