Okay so I'm swapping a 22re into my old yoti. I picked up an ecu at a local scrap yard and a wiring harness off of eBay. So it turns out the plugs on the wiring harness are different than the plugs on the ecu. The plugs on the wiring harness are 18 & 10 pin. Does anyone know what year ecu I need?

 

I did a 22re swap into my 83 a couple years ago. You're much better off to get a complete truck that has a 22re from factory and use everything from that truck to make yours run. Try and find a roll over or one that is completely rusted out that you can get for cheap. This way you know all the parts you have will work together.

And as you can see some wires were cut on the harness. I'm guessing this way another plug for the dash??
