22r misfire

my 1981 toy pickup doesnt fire on cylinder 2. i put new plugs and plug wires along with a new distributor and rotor. any ideas?

Did you have the same problem before you changed the wires, cap, and plugs? Do a compression check to make sure that the valves are not burnt to the point that the cylinder doesn't have any compression on it. No compression = dead miss.

yea its pretty much been a problem since i bought the truck. whats the price run on valve jobs
