hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if i can swap my 79 20R carb onto my 85 22R intake for smog emissions purposes..i believe intake fit is different to the head but not sure about carbeurator fit..anyone got any ideas? thanks..

 

It doesn't fit the 22R Manifold, you can buy an adapter though but the 20R carb is a lower CFM than the 22R Carb.

 

nope , not a direct fit ...
you would need an adapter , and as mentioned above .. it's a step back.
