1st gen weight

I was just wondering how much your 1st gens are weighing. havn't got a chance to weigh mine yet. trying to compare to my dad's jeep and my uncle's jeep.

Per the '80 brochure: 2815 for 4wd and 2866 for 4wd long box... That's what I always loved about 1st Gens they're light....

so i weighed mine the other day. with 35s on alum rims. stock running gear other then long travel front drive shaft, g58 and a chain case. my dad, me and a full tank in it, it weighed 3820

no, that's just the gross weight of the vehicle (if it was loaded to capacity).

I took mine to the dump the other day, and with my wife and I it came out to be around 3300 pounds. Mines a 81 long bed 4x4.
