Is there any info or a parts list of what I would need to swap a 5mge or 7mge into a 82 4x4? Thanks.

My buddy has a 5mge in his 81 an all it took for him I think was a supra bellhousing on a 3rd gen pickup tranny and someone else wired it in for him. But it was pretty simple he said.

Not really sure on the details just what i can remember but man that truck moves! Keeps up with a friends superduty.

I would like to know too. Sounds like a 3rd gen tranny would work.
