Got a A/c working, but makes loud noise from belt. Mechanic says there's a bracket missing to put tension on belt. Is there a bracket out there that I'm missing? Is it a easy find or fix? Im in SoCal area if any knows a good a/c guy.

 

A picture can say the thousand words that you didn't say. Yes, there is a tensioner, but I'm more curious as to how you managed run the engine and keep the belt on without it...
