Well the truck had been sitting in a field at a ranch for 5 years because squirrels had chewed up a few wires. Got it for $300 last weekend, and finally got it started yesterday. Now I am trying to get all the vacuum hoses and wiring ready to go for smog. We found a few hoses that have been chewed, and now looking on the passenger side of the carb i found a valve with a fitting for the hose but with no hose in sight, and it looks like there might never have been a hose on it, or it least not for a long time. I'll have a more detailed thread of the restoration in a while, soon as i get it on the road
