yep .. 79-83 resivoir mounts on the inner drivers fender well , vertical wall , right beside/below the ignitor . rear tab is just below the ignitor , and then 2 front mounts will line right up to pre exsisting holes just in front of the rad overflow/windshield tank assembly

Well,I was going to do this like a build-up, but it really is easy and pretty much a no-brainer...except..my pitman arm is kicking my butt. wrecked the rented tool from Oreileys , so I have to take it back and get another one. everything is in except the steering box which is loosened, but the pitman is holding me up...and I have to go to work today.blah

Do you need the pitman arm for the other box? I got my old one out and new one in with the pitman still on.

also, when I got the arm off,i used the puller with a pipe wrench over the top so it wouldn't separate when I was torqueing on it.

Jeez sorry that pitman arm was such a pain in the ass, I tried to remove it before I shipped it to you, but I broke that same exact puller you had in the last picture trying to get it off. (What I get buying harbor freight tools)

Good idea using a pipe wrench to hold it together, mine exploded when I put the 6 foot pipe on it for leverage.
