10 digit Vin Decoder Link

I don't remember seeing a 10 digit VIN decoder online, but then, I have never looked!
A quick search did not turn up anything for me.
Before the 17 digit VIN system became the standard (~ 1981), each manufacture could use their own system for identification numbers.
You will probably need to look for a Toyota-specific breakdown of what each digit means.

Thanks Lons and old87
I even went to my DMV and they can only look up vin's in my state not other states, bummer
Anyway I bailed on the truck I was going to buy, the guy "failed to mention" the cracked windshield, also he's trying to convince me that the 22r engine was original with 88,000 in a 1980 truck. I never got to look at the truck, it's a few hundred miles away but if I were to consider buying it I would have to go see it first.
