E-locker w/motor

have a 2005 toyota tacoma E-locker with motor

in great shape looks brand new has 3.73 gears bearings in unknown condition

SOLD

located in CO

will consider trades

it will after you clearence your housing and drill a couple new stud holes... its not hard just take an afternoon

I have one in my 81 and was going to use this one up front but changed my mind

did you regear it to 3.73? Not sure I've ever heard of one that high of gearing.

they are factory gears and this is the 3rd one I have owned that had the 3.73s only factory ratio i have ever seen in an elocker

from a 2wd? they come in 4.10's all day long i've seen 4.56 on the rare occasion.

never really cared about the gear ratio since all the ones I have bought have been regeared any ways or sold

i would have liked to find a 4.10 but never thought it was worth the re gear to go 4.10 so i just always used 4.88s in my trucks

3.73 Only locker ratio available in 2005 Tacomas. If his diff is from a 2005, it has to be 3.73 gears.

I have heard this will fit FJ Cruisers as well, though Toyota gives a different part number for the assembly so I can't verify for 100%.

What are you looking for in trade? Subaru parts, firearm stuff, outdoors stuff, auto work (ase cert), house work etc.. If i drop more cash into the truck right now my wife will be upset but in a month or so i might be able to do cash

So to answer the question of who cares about gearing, with 35s on my t4r im looking for the highest ratio possible. how many miles on the diff and is it 8"?

Im interested, but id have to re gear it.
anybody have input on the compatability with a 3rd gen v6 runner?

If I end up getting this, or any other set of gears, you can get my 4.10 3rd. just needs some minor adjustments
