Just got it from another member on here, but I overlooked the fact that it was for a diff transmission than in my truck. Mine is an 85 and this boot came from an 86 with the sticks facing the opposite direction than mine.

The 4wd shifter boot faces the left, while the trans shift faces the right

I really just need the retaining ring for my truck (I have the right boot, but no ring to mount it).
I looked one up on Ebay and they are ALL way overpriced used.

I propose a deal. If someone wants or needs this shift boot and ring, then if they can find me a good, not rusted out, retaining ring for my 85, then I would be willing to work something out.

I have several shift boots/rings one of which i know i pulled from my 85 parts truck. Ill go check in a bit and make sure its what you need. What would a fair price be for you?

 

After looking, the one from my 85 looks just like your 86, so i guess i dont have the part you want. The boots are further apart than ones on your truck. My 85 (and every other 85 that ive seen) had a top shift transfer case, thus the boots being further apart. My 84 4runner has a forward shift transfer case and has the boots closer together like yours. The shifters are bent in the opposite directions like yours too.

 

I don't have what your needing, but I do need that boot/ring set up. I swapped in a W56 and top shift case and cut my 84 boots up to fit. How much do you want for it shipped to 30824. Near Augusta, Ga
