Shipping 88 4Runner

How do y'all go about buying a vehicle from a personal seller and ensuring it will be shipped? Found a great deal on a 4Runner but can't help but feel concerned that they'll take my money and not load the car onto the trailer to be delivered. Any advice??

Give them a deposit, but don't give them the full asking price, until you have the truck sitting in your driveway. That way, if they want the full price for their vehicle, they will send it to you, so they can get the money.
They may not send you the title and bill of sale until they get their full asking price, but if you have the truck in your possession, and they get the money in theirs, it's just a matter of a couple of signatures and the truck is fully yours. Once you have the title and bill of sale, register it in your area, and away you go. Remember, a lot of places won't register a vehicle until it has the minimum insurance coverage required by law in your area.

If this procedure isn't acceptable to them, you may need to reconsider buying from them, I'm afraid.
I wish you the best!
