I have a 1986 22RE block and head anyone in CA can have for free.

The engine needs a rebuild as I ran it out of oil and all the bearings are bad. Found a lot of copper in the oil pan. Engine never over heated. It should be a good core for a build though. You will also have to take all the accessories which are off of a '93 engine. Both parts of the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, AC compressor, fan, alternator, and assorted pulleys and tensioners.

Im only going to keep this for a few days, than it gets turned in scrap.
I figure it could still get put to good use.

 

Im in sand Diego and may need a motor. Just lost mine. Had compression in one cylinder. Had your motor been bored over before and rebuilt? I could really use a free good bottom end.

 

I cant tell you with 100% certainty that the motor has not been bored. How ever I dont think this motor has ever had any machine work done on it.
If you want it you would have to come get it ASAP. I was actually going to take it to the metal scrap yard today, and I still will if I dont here back from you soon. Its in the back of my truck with a bunch of other garbage and I need my truck bed back.

 

I live 9 hours away =( guess ill have to pass. Would have to wait til I get paid friday just to have the gas n time to get there. And soonest would be Sunday if I could. Thank you though. Bummer you need it gone so quickly.
