Finally a cordless Ratchet!

check this bad boy out this is cool if you ask me. Leave it up to ingersoll rand to come out with a cordless ratchet. Here's a link to it. Cheapest place I've found it.

Let's see what you guys think. It comes in 1/2" and 3/8" drive

I'd be interested to see how it compares to one of ingersol's air operated ones, torque-wise, and battery life. Buy it and give us a review!

These were used all the time by the mechanics at my last job. (production) I had asked them about them when I saw em. All of them loved it. They did mention though, get yourself some extra batteries.

That looks awesome, although it's quite expensive and it should come with a slimmer battery. I've been using the Skil brand one for years. Honestly, it's one of my favorite tools. It doesn't have a lot of power, but it's long, so you can use the leverage to break torque; then, just pull the trigger. The battery life is decent and it's quiet, unlike my air ratchet. It's only quarter inch drive, so I only use it on 14mm and smaller fasteners.

I am suprised there are not more battery powered ratchets. Impact guns are bulky and don't really fit in tight spaces.

i have to say, its the best looking one minus the battery. it looks just like the air version counterpart. all the other companys that make cordless ratchets are not really ratchets but drills. so this is awesome
if the battery was smaller maybe i would but having this on all my air tools makes the hoses feel like its not even there
