Digital Torque Wrenches
Does anyone know of their reliability on accurate readings? I was looking at the Craftsman 1/2" digital torque wrench to buy to help me in reinstalling my heads after I get them done and new head gaskets. Should I stay with the old conventional torque wrench that has been known to be accurate by clicks?

I bought the snap on digital torque wrench and it worked good but the battery did not last long at all if you left it on for 5min they were dead. I was told the new version is better but i gave mine back to the snap on guy and he gave me the old click click version which i love it is easy to use and gets the job done.

Thats what I figured....batteries would die on ya and problems getting the right torque. Guess some technological advancements suck! Always looking for an easier way out...but not always the best one....thanks!
