Yea, the trueflow is made better than the current amsoil. The truflow is made like the original Amsoil was, but since Amsoil changed suppliers/compaines 3 years ago, their new version isn't as good as the current TrueFlow.

I also can't get my true flow to fit into the air box. Anyone else have this issue? I have a 2001 4Runner maybe the 01 - 02s have a different air box?

When I bought my filter about a month ago the cleaning kits were back ordered. I think that's still the case.

I enjoy my true flow, it works even with a snorkel, and hopefully with a supercharger next month

Can't find a Trueflow cleaning kit locally, will a K&N cleaning kit work just as well?

No, this will not work. The true flow oil has a special tacktifier in it that specially made for foam filters. I can sell you this oil kit, email me if you want one, you can't get them locally.

I bought a Tru Flow off Jason last year and ya I have the same sound when I put my foot into it . Sounds awesome !
