Triple Shifter for topshift t-case
Finally the Triple Shifter I ordered showed up today. I ordered the Shifter from Dr.Smash at www.Drsmash.com I have waited for two years to order the Shifter and finally ponied up the cash three months ago. I was exstatic to see that it showed up in the mail today. So here are some pics. of what is all included, how its mounted and the function of the shifter.

You can see in this picture, the Shifter comes with two rubber gaskets, three shift knobs, a new boot and a boot retainer.

Here you can see the underside of the Shifter unit. there are two keys to control the Shift Forks in the rear T-case in the rear unit. there is one key to control the Shift Fork in the reduction box.

With the Shifter standing upright, you can see the three Shift Levers connected to the front unit.

This is how the Triple Shifter mounts to the dual T-case.

The Shift lever on the left of the pic. controls 2wd or 4wd. the center Shift lever control the front reduction box, to choose from 1:1 or 2.8:1 gears. The Shift Lever on the right side of the pic. changes the rear reduction box from 1:1 or 4.7:1 gears.
The point of the triple gives you the option to have the same control of the dual T-case the same way if you were using Twin Sticks. The best part to me, you don't have to cut a new hole in the floor board. All three Shift Lever come up through the stock T-case Shift Lever location. There were only two cons. to ordering this setup. The cost was $400 shipping included and it was a long three month wait to receive the unit. All in all I am vary happy, its worth every penny i paid and I will only have to buy one. As with all ultra Custom parts, waiting is part of the price we pay. We all know in the end its totally worth the wait.

those things look sweet man. Wonder why they didn't label the knobs for the noobs like me though.
I am guessing here and you can now run FWD HI/LO with them? I would look myself, but the linky no worky.
oh yeah does it come with a boot too?

I noticed, I just fixed the link.
I found out about the triple shifter over on Pirate and have dreamed of one for two years. I was lucky to find it years ago when i did or i would have done twin sticks.
the unit dose not allow front wheel drive but that would be cool. the only way i know of to do fwd on a yota is to get a rear drive shaft disconnect shifter. I dont remember where i saw that before.

I just came across your thread here. Did you get a chance to install the triple stick setup? How do you like it? Did You have to modify the floor much to fit the linkages? I'm very curious because I'm seriously considering getting one too.
Thanks,
Grant

Well I ran into an issue where I was going to install the T-case and drive train lift during Christmas. I had to put it off till June. So now I just have to wait for a month and a little bit and I will be able to finally have this mod done. I'll be sure to take any pictures, describe the install and state my verdict. I'm sure when all said and done, it will be bad AAAAA.

nope, not at the moment. due to some issues at home and a smog issue I'm dealing with. I am hoping smog will be done here this week. Then i can lay the yota up for four days while i do the install. All is good here now and i definitely have the funds for this adventure. I am really excited.

I had to put it off so I could fix the rear springs. I picked up some 63" chevys. I am in the process of ordering a blazeland kit to go with the chevys. Today I was at Ruffstuff Specialties shop in Loomis, picking up the spring and shackle hangers. I will be doing the t-case after I finish up the suspension this month.
Oh and yesterday I bought a winch. I have recently ran into quite a bit of money, so I can really start spending
