Treadwright tires
#3
I had a set. U get what u pay for. One of the tires had a hole in the sidewall when I got it. Sent em a pic and they sent me a new one rite away. I ordered the ones with the ground up walnut shells in the tread......bad idea. I drive a lot of gravel and the shells come out of the tread leaving little pinholes so the gravel just chewed them apart. They also were louder than j thought they should have been for a mud tire. Wouldn't buy them again. I'm sure some ppl have good luck with them but not me.

I have a set on my truck right now. They are the wardens that are the bfg at look alike and I have not had any problems with them. I have about 15000 on them and they are showing almost no wearing. I have put them through snow ice dirt roads rocks and have done great. They do suck a** in the mud but they are not mud tires. The only downfall I have found is that they are heavy and do have more road noise then regular bfg at's

I have tread wrights on my 89 4runner. While they are cheap, they are VERY heavy and VERY loud on the road. The tread is very soft, and tends to make the truck wander unpredictably. If you DD the truck I would strongly advise against them.

Had a set of bfg look a likes on my brothers 94 and they rode and handled great. I would buy another set. We were never worried about the tires and after about 1 he sold the truck with the tires still in great shape
