it's one thing to read testimonies it's another to actually know people who can give you their word.

Hey any update on how the Treadwrights are doing? Balance issues after a few months of use?

hey......good question.

nope...nothing...nada.

her 4runner sees alot of miles....teetering at the 100k mark now....I thing we are somewhere around 98k right at the moment.....so that's roughly 6 thousand miles so far, no signs of wear. run nice, DO rub ever so little at full lock but that's a size issue.

sooooooo.....so far so god. still get my endorsement.

Sweet I'm probably going to pulling the trigger on a set in the next month unless a good deal locally comes up.

just posted this thread in another thread and realized I have not posted any update in forever.

8 months and over 13 thousand miles later, still look and act like they did the day they were installed. no air pressure issues......no issues at all.

still get my recommendation.

if it matters to ya, ask for "matching carcasses". not sure what the WARDENS are comparable to, but if they are the Good Year ones of even the BFG ones see if they can get carcasses that match up with the tread signature (we got the BFG AT T/A's and matching sidewalls) no extra charge but may have to wait. I'm sure that's a request they hear all the time.

post up how it goes.

Yeah I'm planning on going with matching BFG carcasses. The wardens are the BFG clones, so it will match up just right. I will definitely update this thread when I get them on.

hmmmm. don't know the answer to that one. all that's listed is load range. otherwise, don't want to assume anything.

Hello, I'm new to these forums but I've been members of many others for years. I come here to write my review on these treadwright tires. I had my first tire failure at 12,000 miles. I always kept them properly inflated and rotated. I never offroaded them or abused them in any way (only typical dirt roads, snow etc.). Here is what the first tire looked like, luckily I caught it before it had a full blown blow out.

Treadwright responded fast and shipped me a new tire for warranty replacement. Which I thought was good of them.

Fast forward a month or so down the road. I had another tire failure. Up until the blow out I had horrible vibrations/wheel shake, and horrible noise (which I thought was a wheel bearing). The noise wasn't a typical off-road tire noise it was a constant, wah, wah, wah with relation to speed. It came most prevalently from the tire that blew out. I tried to get the tires re-balanced but that didn't help.

So I contacted Treadwright again and told them what happened, seeing how this was the 2nd out of 4 tires that had disintegrated. They blamed me for improper inflation, etc.. etc.. and would not replace the tire( I knew they wouldn't own up to 2/4 tires failing being their fault). That's fine by me because I picked up a set of standard rims and tires and my Jeep drive 200% better on the road now. Yea, the blow out ruined my rim. I also don't have to worry about having a blowout and potentially harming myself or passengers.

Do you know what the date code was on your carcasses?

Where do I find it? I don't see a definitive date on the tire, when I went to the garage to look. I did notice on the other two tires the inside tread is starting crack and detatch kind of like the first picture in my post, not bad, but visible.
