Welcome, you must be new to yotas.
5.29s would be better, 5.71 better yet. 5.71 are not recommended for Offroad use but great for show truck or mall crawler.
figuring out MPH is prolly easiest by GPS. I remember a guy in Cali that had a setup to adjust speedo but haven't seen much of it in last 5-7 years. Don't know anyone that runs one.

It's been a few yrs since I've owned one , but it will be mainly a DD, but will go 4wheeln also. Been thinking about doing a eng.swap to help me out with the get up and go and help with the top speed, it stays around 65mph now but would like to be able to do 85mph with the power to be able to pass someone also without it taking forever like a semi...lol

I was watching an episode of "dirt everyday" clampy an 86 toy truck was shown. Dude said something that made loads of sense to me. "Over axle and under engined." But really depends on type of wheel'n a person does. Around here ppl like to drive back and forth through a mud puddle. Like its a thing get a farmer to let you use a piece of land bring in a tanker of water. And when in doubt throttle out. No need for suspension flex, a dodge V10 on Dana 40 pushing 44" IROC.
I do like the mild build on my 22re and perhaps next time it dies will look at a 3rz swap.

don't expect a SA toyota with a 22R to do 85 mph on 39's. It has the aerodynamics of an outhouse...semi's will more than likely pass you. 5.3 would be a good swap
