well, I sent him a money order, it was first class or priority or whatever, so it was delivered last friday. I have sent a few pm's asking about whether he recevied it or not, and i still don't have my driveshaft or any contact with him at all.

 

and now he can't receive any more pm's....is he ousted from site? i guess I will go to post office to put in a claim....if anyone has info on how to do that, maybe a website, i would be much obliged.

 

I sent him some $$ for parts on June 21st (wish I had seen this thread first).

now I can't even get in touch with him because he's been banned and can't receive PMs

 

If you sent him money and don't or did not keep his contact info for just such an occasion as this then you were foolish.

This guy is banned so he can't rip more folks off via Yotatech.

If you need his contact info try the other folks he ripped off in this thread for his info.

I'm happy to report that while I never got a response to any of my emails (which honestly made me quite worry some)... I did receive the parts I paid for... they came in a package today.

a pair of gray A-pillar trim pieces and a stereo bracket with a din pocket...

I hope everyone else who purchased something from him gets what they paid for...

 

I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, I just sent him an email, though he should have just shipped out when he received the MO.

 

I never got the impression he was shady. I mean there were a few parts I wanted to buy that he told me he didn't have or that he had but not in good shape... I would think if he was intending to rip people off he would have offered to "sell" them anyway. He was always really slow to respond though. I'd have to wait a few days after sending a PM for a response.

haven't tried calling him, feel kinda weird doing that because he didn't give me his number, i would have gotten it off of here, but I guess should put feelin weird aside when i sent him 80 bucks two weeks ago for a driveshaft and haven't heard a peep.

 

FWIW I dropped my check in the mail on June 21th and I received the parts on July 9th

...so that's just under 3 weeks time.

we're all in the north east so shipping time shouldn't be much different.

 

to me 3 weeks is a joke, it don't take 3 weeks for something to make it from Cali to PA, or Japan for that matter.

So this guy is still doing the same thing to different people? And people are still buying from him?

i was getting worried, i hadn't heard from him, when i searched for him, it said banned under his name, and i found this thread. 3 weeks is a loong time for delivery from one place in the northeast to another. again, i am still hopeful and trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, though i have not heard back from the email i sent either.

no no one is buying anything more from him everyone discussing the seller in this thread purchased from him BEFORE he was banned. (hence 3-weeks).

I was only trying to ease the OP's fears by letting him know that after 3-weeks I did actually get the parts I purchased so there's hope yet.

that doesn't mean it's ok that it's taking that long, or that I plan on ever buying something from this seller again, but it's SOMETHING.

I have openly heard him in shout box say he has tried to make ammends, I call bull, he could have called one of the dudes or emailed a mod to get you guys your money. Pm mods on marlin and get him banned


kinda ironic if you look on marlins site, HE actually STARTED the Good sellers thread, shows how much mods keep up on talk and stuff on marlins site huh
