Yukon Jeep Rescue

You da man! Trust me they appreciated it.
Same type deal happened to me and my brother a couple weeks ago. Got stuck on the mountain for a cozy night in the truck. It's a whole nother story when that happens and your prepared for it though.
Long story shortened, buried the rig in the snow like that. Then my heavily abused clutch refused to last long enough for me to weasle my way out of it like I always do. Never been "stuck" in the snow before this, close, but not quite. I've got everything in the truck for self-recovery in that situation, except a spare clutch. Anyhow we were just about 15 miles outta cell phone range, and it was gettin' late, after 10 pm when all was said and done. Had just about all we needed for comfort, sans sleeping bags and a tent. So we "survived" just fine. Now you tell me how prepared for anything this is. I happened to have my mountain bike in the bed of my truck. "Woke up" after not sleeping all night and rode the 20 odd miles back to town. 80% downhill ride from where we were, thankfully. Called my buddy who's got a 4x4 GMC diesel with a 12,000lb. Warn on the front. We made short work of it.
It's possible, though rare, for a Toyota to be in need of assistance too. I've been pulled many many more times then I've done the pullin' so far. I'm a risk taker though, alot of folks wouldn't even THINK about trying to drive their rigs where I'll take mine in at the drop of a hat.
